Could you be a part of the Whizz-Kidz Collective?
At Ross Care, we are committed to improving the lives of children and young people who use wheelchairs. As a trusted provider of NHS Wheelchair Services, we understand that mobility is just one part of the journey - true empowerment and inclusion come from community, confidence, and opportunity.
That’s why we proudly signpost and encourage the young people and families we support to explore the Whizz-Kidz Collective, a vibrant, youth-led community for wheelchair users aged 8 to 25, delivered by our partners at the leading UK charity Whizz-Kidz.
What Is the Whizz-Kidz Collective?
The Whizz-Kidz Collective is an exciting platform that brings together young wheelchair users from across the UK. Members can get involved in:
- Advisory groups and campaigns that shape inclusive services.
- Creating content for Whizz-Kidz’s social media, helping share their lived experiences.
- Community events and workshops designed to build confidence and develop new skills.
- Partner projects, such as creating accessible leisure opportunities or reviewing products and spaces.
It’s a space where young people can raise their voices, build friendships, and influence change, all while having fun and learning new things.
