About Ross Care

Ross Care, with over 60 years of experience, is the UK's premier provider of high-quality wheelchair services. As a leading specialist and approved repairer, Ross Care boasts an unparalleled heritage and a renowned reputation for clinical excellence and governance.

Ross Care is a leading provider of NHS Wheelchair Services, Approved Repair Services repairs, and also offers Mobility equipment sales and support through our Shops.

We support the entire service user pathway, addressing even the most complex needs through our market-leading manufacturer, Consolor. Since securing our first outsourced contract in the 1970s, Ross Care has expanded to manage 40 long-term contracts across England and Wales, serving around 400,000 wheelchair users and covering 45% of the population. Our dedicated team of nearly 500 professionals operates from 29 service centres, with our head office located in Wallasey.

We operate Service Centres and Clinical Assessment Centres across England & Wales. This enables us to provide excellent local coverage and response times for our NHS wheelchair users. We have skilled Field Service Engineers out on the roads each day, each carrying large stocks of wheelchair parts and spares to achieve a very high percentage of first-visit-fixes.

Ross Care joined the Medequip group in 2023.
