Push Button Control

The R90’s wireless Control Box enables effortless push-button propulsion, ideal for users with limited hand strength or dexterity. Easily mounted anywhere on your wheelchair frame, it lets you raise or lower the wheel at any time and adjust speed to suit your environment—slower in tight spaces or up to 5.5 mph to keep pace with your dog. Press the plus (+) button to start moving or maintain your chosen speed like cruise control. Bluetooth® connectivity ensures a reliable, cable-free connection that stays secure during movement and detaches easily for transfers or travel. Operation is intuitive with no learning curve—simply go faster, slower, raise the wheel, or start moving.

Compatible with most rigid and folding wheelchairs

The Empulse R90 is designed to fit most rigid and folding wheelchairs without obstructing any chair components. Its receiver brackets enable folding chairs to fold normally.

On rigid wheelchairs, the bracket attaches directly to the camber tube and can stay mounted whether the R90 is attached or not. 

For folding models, the assembly includes a robust, spring-loaded crossbar that allows for fast and secure installation and removal.

Sunrise Intelligence App

During initial setup, the R90 app customises performance based on the rider’s weight and wheelchair type. It lets you choose performance profiles and maximum speeds tailored for indoor or outdoor use, with preset settings optimized for speed, torque, and incline. The app displays battery status to keep you informed of charging needs and allows you to raise or lower the R90’s wheel remotely while monitoring its position. A dashboard provides historical data on maximum speed and distance traveled. The app is compatible with both Android™ and Apple® iOS devices.
