Well done to Lauren Flaxen (member of Sunderland Harriers running club) and Andrew Fowler for completing last weeks edition of the Great North Run.

This was a particularly impressive effort as Lauren sustained a leg injury in the build-up to the event. Undeterred however, Lauren and her partner Andrew approached Ross Care to see whether we could sponsor them with a wheelchair for the event. Armed with this wheelchair, a pair of crutches and Andrews support they pushed through and were still able to complete the event in just over 3 hours. We’re very impressed by their resolve and positivity and are always thrilled to see how people utilise equipment to continue living their lives.
