Ross Care is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the local football club, AFC Oldham's men’s team.

Ross Care has been particularly impressed with their level of engagement in the local community, which reflects the company's own approach. Last season they raised over £1,000 for the Action Oldham Fund Charity, hosted a monthly collection for Oldham Foodbank and took toys and chocolates to the Children’s Ward at Oldham Royal Hospital at Christmas and Easter.

AFC Oldham's superb work in the community has also since been recognised at this year's Oldham Sports Awards, winning the Community Initiative Award.

Ross Care would particularly like to raise awareness of AFC Oldham's continuous involvement in Mental Health Awareness through their free #FootballForFun event held every Friday night at Oldham Futsal Arena. It's a friendly game, where no scores are kept and the focus is on the fun.

Ross Care's Independent Living Shop in Oldham, in particular, is working with the team and raising awareness through their store.
