When shopping for mobility equipment online at Ross Care, you have the option to collect your items for free at one of our shops.
Click & collect offers a unique opportunity when buying for loved ones that live at a distance. You may be selecting equipment to help around the home or to get outdoors, such as an electric mobility scooter. Each Ross Care mobility shop has friendly experts (many with 10+ years experience), who will ensure the items purchased are suitable for the individual. In the example of a mobility scooter, they will take into account a range of aspects including:
• The intended journeys the customer wishes to make - i.e. Road surfaces, distance of travel, steep gradients, public transport access, climate and more.
• Safety of the individuals' ability to control the vehicle including sight, dexterity & impacting medical conditions.
• The practicalities of storing and charging the scooter.
• Has the most suiting model has been selected - Too big? too small? Ability to transport? Most appropriate features - rear-view mirrors, comfort seating, suspension, an electric folding scooter, tyre choice...
The above are just a few of the factors our advisors will take into consideration. Where options may appear overwhelming, our team are skilled to listen to your requirements and ask questions so that advice can be given in a helpful and clear manner.
Click and Collect is Risk Free
When collecting and inspecting your items in the store, if it is felt that they are not going to achieve what you hoped, then we will help find a more suitable alternative or refund your purchase on the spot.
As well as click and collect, we offer an expert local delivery option to areas close to our five shops (typically within 10 miles). For items that require assembly or instruction on use, then this option will ensure a large boxed item will not be simply left at your door. Whilst following Covid-19 safety procedures, you will be assisted to feel confident with your equipment.
For many simple items that do not require click and collect or expert local delivery, then they can simply be shipped to you via a national courier service.
If you wish to pay online and then collect your item in-store, then as part of the checkout process simply select the 'Local Pickup' option and chose the shop location most convenient for you.
When your item is ready for collection you will be notified by email. Please bring your order confirmation email with you or proof of identity that matches the cardholders' details. Your order confirmation will also include the local shops' contact information so that you can speak to them about any questions you may have.
