Wheelchair Recycling Campaign in Hampshire and Isle of Wight

We are currently asking our service users to return any unused NHS wheelchairs back to our service. This is in line with our recycle campaign. Our aim is to be as green as we can, and one way in which we can do this is through recycling unused wheelchair parts.

If you do have an unused NHS Wheelchair at home, we can arrange to collect it from your home at a time that is convenient for you. Alternatively, you can return the wheelchair to our service centres, see below for details.

Anyone can easily identify whether their wheelchair belongs to the NHS Wheelchair Service by checking for a frame sticker which will clearly indicate this and provide the local contact information. Once confirmed, please contact our customer services team to arrange for the return of the wheelchair to you local service centre.
