Here at Wicker Mobility Shop we understand there are lots of reasons for needing equipment or mobility aids. Perhaps you have a short term need for a bit of extra help/mobility, a friend or relative may be coming to stay who can't bring the aids they have in their own home, or you want to try out equipment to see if it will work for you and is worth investing in.

All hire items require a £50 deposit which is refundable once the product is returned in good condition.

Manual Wheelchairs

We have a fleet of manual wheelchairs in varying sizes (including for children) that can be hired for:
1 day hire - £15
3 days hire- £20 or a
1 week (7 day period) hire - £25

Elevating legrests can be hired for an extra £10 for the duration of hire.

Three wheeled folding walker with adjustable height handles and brakes.

High seat chairs
This chair is adjustable in height making it suitable for a number of users. The frame is made from steel giving both strength and durability. The seat, back and arm pads are padded for comfort and covered in easy to clean vinyl. The back has side wings for that extra comfort and support. Seat 458×482mm (18×19"). Width between arms 482mm (19"). Weight 11.4kg. Max User Weight: 160Kg

Bathlifts - Not currently Hiring
Our hire bathlift has a soft washable seating surface and is easy to lift in and out of baths. The operation is simple and the handset can be unplugged from the bathlift allowing it to be charged outside the bathroom without having to move the whole lift. Weight limit 18 stones.

Ramps
Made from anodized aluminium, these telescopic ramps can carry up to 50 stone (317kg) per set. They have a non-slip surface on the ramps and also on the contact surfaces at the top and bottom, to help prevent sliding whilst in use. Easily set up in seconds.
