FREE to attend, Tuesday 26 August from 10am to 4pm on at Hindleap Warren, Forest Row 

Come along and enjoy a choice of fully inclusive activities, including a zip wire, pentagon lower and archery. It’s a great chance to create memories, uncover strengths, and make new friends, supported by the encouraging, friendly team at Hindleap.

We’ll share a free buffet lunch and during the lunch break staff from East Sussex County Council and NHS Sussex will ask parent carers about wheelchair service provision across Sussex. Amaze and East Sussex Parent Carer Forum will also be present to support with this listening exercise.

Who is eligible for the Fun Day?

Any child or young person who is currently accessing wheelchair services, either for wheelchairs or mobility aids, in Brighton & Hove, East and West Sussex, aged up to 25, and their siblings. 

Parent carers must be willing to discuss wheelchair service provision on the day, with potential follow-up afterwards.

• Your full name
• The full name and date of birth of your child or young person with SEND
• The full names and dates of birth of any siblings attending
• The full names and dates of birth for all adults attending
• Your full address
• Any dietary requirements

Please note:

Parent carers are responsible for their children and young people at all times, although Amaze sessional youth workers and Hindleap staff will be on site to support where needed.

The day is strictly limited to 30 families and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
