Ross Care Engages with Families and Service Users at Kidz to Adultz South 2026

Ross Care was delighted to attend the 25th Annual Kidz to Adultz South exhibition at the Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre in May.

The event provided an excellent opportunity for teams from our NHS Wheelchair Services, including Surrey, East Sussex, Hampshire, Kent and Barnet, to engage directly with service users, families, carers and healthcare professionals. Throughout the day, colleagues welcomed visitors to the Ross Care stand, offering advice, answering questions and providing support in an accessible and friendly environment.

As one of the UK’s leading exhibitions for children and young people with disabilities and additional needs, Kidz to Adultz South brings together families, professionals and organisations to share information, innovation and practical support. This year’s event focused on helping young people navigate key life transitions, including education, employment and greater independence.

The exhibition enabled Ross Care to strengthen relationships with service users, raise awareness of local wheelchair services and gain valuable insight into the experiences and priorities of the communities we support. Colleagues also connected with therapists, healthcare professionals and partner organisations, supporting collaboration and the sharing of best practice.

Events such as Kidz to Adultz South form an important part of Ross Care’s commitment to meaningful service user engagement, helping ensure the voices of wheelchair users remain central to service development and delivery.

Kidz to Adultz is one of the UK’s largest free events dedicated to children and young people with disabilities and additional needs, welcoming families, carers and professionals from across the region for a day of expert advice, practical support and inclusive opportunities.

The event offers a unique opportunity to connect with over 100 exhibitors – from mobility and seating to education, employment, funding, sensory products and more.

Kidz to Adultz spotlights an important new area of support: helping young disabled people and their families navigate life’s key transitions – whether that’s preparing for adulthood, accessing further education, moving into employment or gaining greater independence.

Parents, carers and professionals will be able to explore dedicated information and services to help make these transitions smoother and more informed.
