Wild with Wheels was founded by Gini, a wheelchair user who recognised the need for inclusive outdoor experiences for people with mobility aids.

Clive and Nicola joined one of their walks on Wednesday 8th October 2025. During the walk, our guides, Michael and Mel, provided excellent support and shared interesting facts about the White Cliffs, local wildlife, and native plants. They also assisted participants on the more difficult trail leading to the top of the cliffs, where we were rewarded with a stunning view of Dover Castle.

The experience was both enjoyable and inspiring. It was wonderful to be part of such an inclusive and supportive group, and we would definitely attend future events. Wild with Wheels is a fantastic organisation that makes nature accessible for everyone.

We at the Wheelchair Services believe in making sure all our service users are aware of these amazing activities such as this. So we have the pleasure of advertising the walks on our slideshow and leaflets in the waiting area and advertising in this newsletter.
