Sparsholt Village Fête - 20th June 2026

Sparsholt Village Fête invites everyone to come along on the 20th June!

The entire fête site has gently sloping areas but are wheelchair accessible. The memorial green has had an area adjacent to the bus shelter graded to give a gentler slope onto the green, rather than the step/low bank that ran all the way across the front edge before. It is now much easier to walk on to the green and with a little assistance should be wheelchair accessible too.

The fête will have designated disabled parking for those who require it, just ask one of the marshals as you drive towards the middle of the village and they will help direct you.
We also have easy access toilets in the village hall.

Just a taste of what to expect on the day:

  • BBQ
  • Silver band
  • Dog show
  • Craft market
  • Ice cream van
  • Pimms
  • Clay modelling
  • Coconut shy
  • Plants and bric-a-brac
  • Music
  • Children's entertainer
  • Vintage tractors and classic cars

Visit the fête's Facebook page for more information: https://www.facebook.com/p/Sparsholt-Village-Fete-61558322317802/

Adaptive Box-Fit Exercise Videos from WheelPower

Enjoy the NEW 3-part Adaptive Box-Fit exercise videos from WheelPower and Luiz Faye (the Kronik Warrior)

These videos are the perfect introduction to the sport with no equipment needed, and are suitable for most people who are unable to participate in boxing from a standing position. The sessions are designed to incorporate functional fitness, strength and conditioning; paying particular attention to the transfer of adaptive boxing skills and drills to increase core stability, mobility and overall upper body strength.

Although all the sessions feature an element of adaptive boxing, experience is not necessary. In fact, you don’t even need to take the sport out of your living room so there’s no pressure to jump in the ring!  Consider it to be boxing moves for the functional benefits and not for the fight!

Video 1 – An Introduction to Adaptive Box-Fit (58 minutes)

Discover Adaptive Box-Fit with this introductory video, combining upper body exercise with boxing skills. Includes a warm-up and cool down.

Video 2 – Adaptive Box-Fit Part 2 (55 minutes)

Video 3 – Adaptive Box-Fit Part 3 (55 minutes)

About the videos

Luiz Faye will be your fitness trainer for this live class from WheelPower.
During this session Luiz will be taking us through a 1 hour workout that includes a short warm-up and warm down.

All the exercises are done from a seated position and can be adapted to suit varying abilities and fitness levels.  You must, however, be guided by your body and work out to suit your needs safely.
Please have a bottle of water to hand to stay hydrated throughout.
